No ego-first recruiting. Listen, ask questions and stay focused on the people we serve.
A family business in the truest sense.
Compass is led by Hans and Bridget — high-school sweethearts, husband and wife, and partners in a company built around the same values they try to live by at home.
Built together.
Hans and Bridget grew up in the tiny town of Puckett, Mississippi and now call Missoula, Montana home. They have one son, Noah, who is 15, and a German Shepherd, Stormie.
As a family they love traveling — especially in and around Montana — fishing and spending time outdoors. Bridget is a beach girl by nature. Hans, Noah and Stormie enjoy duck hunting together, and Hans and Noah also hunt elk, deer and antelope.
That family mindset carries directly into Compass. Clients and candidates are not transactions to us. We want the companies we represent, the people we place and the recruiters who work with us to feel like they are genuinely part of the team.
The people behind the recruiting company.

Humble. Smart. Trained. Equipped. Part of the team.
We choose managers and recruiters around our family values. We want people who are humble enough to listen, smart enough to learn the work, and disciplined enough to represent our clients and candidates well. Then we train them and give them serious recruiting technology and research tools so they can actually do the job.
Curious people who can understand manufacturing roles, companies and career decisions.
Recruiters should be prepared before they are trusted with a client search or someone's career.
We invest in the best tools we can reasonably buy so our team can search broadly and work efficiently.
No lone-wolf culture. We share information and work as one team with clients and candidates.
Clients and candidates are the most important part of the recruiting experience.
If we do the right thing and place good people at great companies, we can sleep well at night. That matters more to us than squeezing a fee out of the wrong fit.
We want Compass to leave things better than we found them.
Our family loves dogs, especially German Shepherds. A portion of Compass Group profits each year is donated to a German Shepherd rescue and another animal rescue. It is a small reflection of the values behind the company: take care of people, take care of animals, keep your word and do your part.
