Privacy Policy

Compass Group Recruiting LLC (“Compass,” “we,” or “us”) provides manufacturing recruiting services and Compass Core, a recruiting and client-workflow service. This policy explains how we collect, use, and share information in connection with our website, recruiting services, and Core.
Information we handle
Depending on how you interact with Compass, we may handle information you provide or that is created through our services, such as name, business and personal contact details, resume and work history, job preferences, client and employer information, job orders, candidate-submission and placement records, communications, signed agreements, and invoice or payment-status records. We may also receive basic technical information when you use our website or Core.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries; provide recruiting and placement services; identify potential job matches; coordinate interviews; manage client, candidate, and recruiter workflows; prepare and track invoices; operate and secure Core; provide support; honor communication preferences; and meet legal, contractual, and recordkeeping obligations.
Compass Core and QuickBooks
If and when a QuickBooks Online connection is made available in Compass Core and a business user authorizes it, Core may access the QuickBooks company and accounting information needed for enabled workflows. Depending on the permissions granted, this may include customer records, invoice details, invoice status, and payment-status information. We use that information to create or sync authorized customer and invoice records and show their status in Core. We do not ask for your Intuit password; authorization is handled through Intuit’s connection process.
You can disconnect the QuickBooks connection through the available controls or through Intuit. Disconnecting stops future access through that connection, but does not automatically delete records already created in QuickBooks or Core. Intuit handles information under its own privacy statement and applicable terms.
Core may also connect to other service providers, such as Stripe, when a feature is enabled and an authorized user chooses to use it. Those providers handle payment credentials under their own policies. Compass may receive limited transaction and payment-status information needed to support the requested workflow; we do not use it to sell personal information.
When we share information
We may share information with:
- Prospective employers when a candidate has authorized a submission or otherwise agreed to be considered for a specific opportunity;
- Clients and authorized users of their accounts, to provide agreed recruiting and client-portal services;
- Service providers that host, secure, or support our website and services, including providers used for Core, accounting, communications, and payment workflows;
- Professional advisers, government authorities, or other parties when needed to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or carry out a signed agreement; and
- Other parties when you direct or authorize us to do so.
We do not sell personal information.
Retention and protection
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide our services, maintain business and recruiting records, honor agreements and communication preferences, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You may ask us to correct or delete information, subject to records we need to retain for legal, contractual, security, or legitimate business purposes. You may also manage text-message preferences as described below. Contact us using the information at the end of this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy by posting a new version here and changing the effective date. The current version applies from its stated effective date.
